GATE 2022 Answer Key is released at gate.iitkgp.ac.in: How to check qualifying marks, cut off, result date

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has released the answer key of GATE 2022 on its official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in today, February 21, 2022. The answer key will be available for download through GATE Online Application Processing System, GOAPS. The process of raising objections is starting from tomorrow i.e. 22 February 2022.

Candidates can download the answer key by entering their credentials to login. Candidates must note that the answer key released is preliminary. Candidates can check the procedure to raise objections on GATE 2022 answer key by following the steps given below.

GATE 2022 Answer Key – How to Raise Objections   

1. Visit the official GATE website– gate.iitkgp.ac.in  
2. On the homepage, click on the applicant login link and log into GOAPS 
3. After logging in, click on the tab that reads ‘Contest Answer Key’. 
4. Pay the fee to challenge the answer key 
5. After payment, enter the question number they wish to challenge and submit a justification for the objection in maximum 500 characters. 
6. Attach required documents and submit 

Candidates will be allowed to challenge the GATE 2022 answer key and raise objections from February 22 to 24, 2022. Candidates should note that for each question and answer challenge, payment of Rs. 500 (USD 10 for NRI candidates) should be deposited at IIT Kharagpur through net banking. Please note that the answer key released today is the preliminary answer key. The final answer key of GATE 2022 will be released after the closure of the objection window on February 24, 2022, and the challenges will be considered by the committee.

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur had conducted the GATE 2022 exam on February 5, 6, 12, and 13 in online mode. This year the examination for 29 subjects was conducted. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted for admission to MTech courses in IITs, IISc, and other premium institutes. GATE score is also considered for the job placement in PSUs.

The final answer key for GATE 2022 and the result will be declared by IIT Kharagpur on its official website – gate.ittkgp.ac.in on March 17, 2022.
