On June 11, Tesla Company is holding a Tesla Model S Plaid Car delivery event at its California plant. CEO Musk demonstrated the performance of the new model. It can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 1.99 seconds, with a top speed of up to 60 mph. At 200 miles, it is “the fastest production car ever.”

Tesla Model S Plaid Price
Pricing for the Tesla Model S Plaid starts at $131,100. Including $1,200 to destination, but no potential tax credit. Which is $10,000 more than I originally expected. White is the only non-cost exterior color. In which black, gray and blue are priced at $1,500, and red is coming in at $2,500. The standard all-black interior option is free. But both the black-and-white and cream options cost $2,000. Lastly, the only other add-on is the deceptively named full self-driving option for $10,000. As a reminder, the Tesla Model S isn’t exactly a self-driving car. The company’s Autopilot technology is a SAE-classified Level 2 driver-assistance system. In total, a fully loaded Model S Plaid costs $145,600 before available savings. Cars are now available to order.
Musk also said on the spot that 25 Tesla Model S Plaid will be delivered June 11. Musk will use it to prove that electric cars can be the best, fastest, safest and most durable (model).
2021 Tesla Model S Plaid design
There is no major visual difference between the updated Model S and the current version. The most obvious change is the redesigned front bumper. Which now has additional air vents. The body is wide too, though you’ll have to put the cars closer together to notice.

Subtly redesigned 19- and 21-inch wheels and a new standard-fit glass roof set this updated Model S apart from the old car.
All-New Interior

Tesla Model S Autopilot Mode
The three-motor all-wheel-drive Model S Plaid is said to produce 1,020 horsepower. Equipped with a single battery, and has an EPA-rated range of up to 390 miles, a range of 390 miles, and a 15- minute charge for a range of 187 miles.
Electric Powertrain
The Long Range and Plaid platforms combine powertrain and battery technologies for unmatched performance, range and efficiency. The new module and pack thermal architecture allows for faster charging and gives you greater power and stamina in all conditions.

Musk also emphasized the Tesla Model S Plaid’s interior, car entertainment system, user interface and seat improvements. Musk said the Model S Plaid can deliver PS5-level gaming experience.
The central control screen adopts a 17-inch display, and users can get the feeling of being in the theater and watching the big screen. Which brings a new experience of watching the car owner. For example, while car owners are waiting or charging for passengers, they can watch online dramas and play games for a while. All this can be achieved through the central control screen. The same is true for the last row. Passengers sitting in the front and rear rows of the car can enjoy a more exquisite leisure experience.
Furthermore, Musk also said on Weibo, Twitter that this car has replaced the entire main screen, and users can watch movies and interact with the full touch screen. While driving the car, you will actually feel that it is driving a 2021 car, not an “old car”.
